This week my ninth grader had an opportunity for some free time down at the lake. Big brother and ninth grader enjoyed some sailing time. Apparently the winds were not exactly on their side but it was good to see if they remembered how to do it all.Greyson is working along well in all his subjects.
It’s particularly good to see him reading in his spare time and to hear him talking about what he is studying at the dinner table. As the mother of a highschool homeschooler it’s a good feeling to not have to supervise every school minute. It’s great to have purposefully chosen quality curriculums that allow my student to work independently. It’s also great to have a responsible fellow who does, for the most part, what he is supposed to each day with just a little prompting!
